Kerry Kellett on Instagram: "The process, I swear by for painting @ikeauk furniture.Step one is priming. I always prime with @zinsseruk BIN, two coats with a foam roller. Do not miss this step, you don’t want your paint to peel.Next, I added some decorative moulding to these doors which is totally optionalPaint, I always use the same paint as I use on the walls. I find using eggshell paint sometimes gives a bit of a shiny finish. I do three thin coats using a foam roller.You can give a light sand, with a very fine grit sandpaper in between the coats if you find you have any little bubbles.The last step is to seal with a clear furniture lacquer. I always use @rustoleumukIt looks milky when it’s applied but dries completely clear.
